Since my previous post I found the following on the general ‘ Microsoft Downloads’ site, which specify SHA1s that match my downloads: No checksums are specified on those pages, so my initial question. ![]() What I actually downloaded are the 3 ISOs accessible from the ‘ VS Express’ part of : I found a total of 3 official locations to get the VS2012 Express ISOs from. In case we don't know where you download your files. So I don't think the cause for the difference in the SHA1s comes from a download error.Īnd finally, is it normal the ISOs from the MSDN Downloads and VS Express sites differ? Are there any functional/ registration/ etc differences? In addition I mounted the "failing" ISOs and verified the digital signatures for a few random files inside, I downloaded multiple times, from the VS Express site mentioned above, the ISOs who's SHA1s do not match and got identical files each time. And what worries me: the SHA1s fit *only* for one of the ISOs, for the other two I got *different* checksums than those on the MSDN Downloads site. ![]() I took a look at the MSDN Downloads site and found 3 ISO images that correspond to those available (without any subscription) from the VS Express site, BUT: Please, can anybody provide the MD5/ SHA1 sums for the 3 VS2012 Express ISO images (the "for Web"/ "for Win8"/ "TFS Express") that can be downloaded from ?
